That would be 1/2 inch. It is 1/4" inch inset.

It is one piece. You unscrew the wing bolt to back it out of the channel, slip it over the spit rod and tighten the bolt to secure it in place.

It will fit any grill with a rounded cut out for a spit rod. It's purpose is to allow the square spit rod to turn smoothly.

What is the bushing used for? Can it be used to go from 5/16 square to a round section that will ride in the v grove on the rotisserie

The bushing is used on the opposite end from the motor where the rod sticks out of the hood. It allows the spit rod to rotate smoothly.

How wide is the groove in the bushing. My grill seems to have a wider frame than normal.
