Yes, it includes the heat shield attached to the burner. However, you will still want to use the briquette grate and briquettes as your primary heat dispersal system as the included heat shield is just secondary protection for the burner. Does this burner work for a charbroil precision flame grill model # 4639871. The dimensions are the same as the one I currently have. Also, does this burner come with the grease deflector that attaches to the burner.

I wasn't able to locate any information regarding your specific model of Charbroil grill and whether or not this burner is correct; however, since it matches the dimensions of your original, it should fit. This burner is correct for the Charbroil Precisionflame 9000 series of grills which includes several models which are similar to your model number (ie. 4639071), so I believe it will work for your grill. Yes, this burner includes the attached heat plate to prevent food drippings from hitting the burner.
