What is the best way to clean burnt on food & grease on the Sams / Bakers & Chefs Heat Shields?

A
The best way to really get all of that stuff off is to put them in your oven on a self clean. It gets so hot that it will turn the residue to ash which can be brushed off. You may also lose some of the porcelain coating though.
