I was excited to receive the two new grill grates as I grill all year. I needed to slightly bend the outside edges in order for them to fit. They are also a lighter grade steel than the original grates. At first, I thought no big deal but after the first used, I noticed one of them warped and now does not set level.

Are the two10 1/4 grids welded together to make up the 20 1/2 width?

These cooking grids are not welded together. They sit side by side in the grill.
