Good morning. I am looking for a rock grate set measuring 17"x33" in total. The photo of this item shows some protrusions on the longer edge. Is it possible to get a measurement on those protrusions? If they measure at least 3/8" total per piece then I'm sure I could grind them down to fit. Thanks for your time and assistance.

Those little ends do not measure 3/8" You would need to cut it behind one of the bars for it to measure 17". Give us a call if you would like to discuss further. 678-272-2451

Yes, this is a briquette/lava rock grate that goes above the burners, but under the cooking grid.
