The world has changed a lot since we opened in 2006. Massive online marketplaces have enabled Chinese factories to supply products directly to American consumers with very little overhead. While this has made many items more affordable and convenient to purchase, it has had some negative effects as well. Small companies like ours simply cannot compete in this environment and continue to offer complimentary personal service to all callers. Compounding the matter, because what we offer is becoming increasingly rare, we receive a majority of requests from folks who need a lot of help and can’t find it anywhere else. Though we love helping them out, many times they purchase something small or nothing at all. Additionally, it is getting harder to find qualified employees for a wage that we can afford. Therefore, though we have always helped everyone to the best of our ability, whether they made a purchase or not, we must now change our model to remain profitable. We will no longer offer free support and grill troubleshooting for non-customers. We now offer a 15 minute, one-on-one phone consultation with one of our grill repair specialists for $19.99. We will help to the best of our ability with grill troubleshooting, recommending alternate options, referring you to the best place we can find if we don’t have what you need and more. If you do place an order with us, the $19.99 will be credited toward the parts on your order, in the form of a special 25% discount up to the full amount of $19.99. We will continue to offer customer service phone and email support for those who have already placed an order with us. We regret having to make this change, as we have always truly enjoyed helping you "get back to grillin!" We know some folks will be turned off by the idea of paying for help that used to be complimetary, and we certainly understand where you are coming from.
