No, the GGCP does not come with the deflector shield. To get a complete control panel including the defector shield, control panel label, knobs and new valves, please order GGCPP for LP grills, or GGCPN for NG grills. Or, if you don't need everything that comes with the complete control panel kit, you could order this part with the deflector shield separately. The part number for the deflector shield is GGDEF.
