Received my replacement parts, thank you, yesterday. I tried to install the Main Burners and they seem that they are about one/half inch too long. Is there a trick to installing them?

Installation of these burners might make them seem a bit too long for various reasons. First, be sure that you begin with the burners going into the grill on an angle. It is possible your grill body has warped slightly over time which makes it difficult (but not impossible) to put brand new parts into your grill.
